Enjoyed your web page --- all the info about the castle,
of course all the beautiful paintings and the photos.
Must tell you of our meeting a real nice young Austrian in DC, his name is Peter,
who said Anton was one of his dad's best friends:
He was standing in front of us when we were waiting in line
to go into the White House. When I said we were from Tucson
he said he had a friend who was an artist that lived inTucson.
I asked if he lived in an airpark, he said "yes"----
I immediately said: is the name Dagmar and Anton and he said Yes.

"Listen to your Dreams"
The SUNY Museum is currently preparing the publication of
DREAMWORKS: Artistic and Psychological Perspectives,
a book of twentieth-century art about dreams,
in commemoration of the centenary of the publication of
Sigmund Freud's 'The Interpretation of Dreams' (Vienna, 1900).
This book will have an appendix which lists art objects
whose subjet matter is dreams.
Please send information on your orig. lithograph "Listen to your Dreams" , 1976.
I really enjoyed looking at A. Krajnc's art.

Mr. Krajnc, I saw your wonderful fresco site on the Internet
and thought you might like to have a look at ours:
http://www.muralist.org
This site is for the artist, Sr. Lucia Wiley, who painted many murals in fresco
in the United States in the first half of this century.
Sadly, she passed away this year.
I really enjoyed your story of the renovation of the chapel.
Thanks for sharing your work on the web.

Hello Anton,
I'm sorry that I couldn't write to you for a long time but there was a
problem with my internet server and they fixed it recently.
Thank you for inviting me to your exhibit in Italy but we sailed only
around the southern coast in Turkey, so I couldn't come and I'm busy with
studying too.
How is your exhibit going? I'm sure that people have liked
your paintings a lot.
I've got exams until 22nd of September. The subjects are biochemistry and
biophysics. Anyway, I hope I'll pass them.
I've got a friend whom I know from Chicago, she was an AFS student too.
She is from Budapest and invited me for a week to Budapest.
On 25th of September I might go there and see that historical place.
I've heard that there are a lot of museums and stuff; also it's a beautiful city.
So, I have to go now and please write me back when you return to America.
Bye for now. By the way, I liked your homepage, it's really nice.

Je suis d'accord.
Bonjour Dagmar,
Cordiales salutations,

Nice to meet someone from Austria on the net
especially from Wien or better from Graz
I'm living here in Australia since 1961
that makes it a long time to stand on my head.
I took the oportunity to look at your WebPages, what can I say
very interesting and pro like, I just started to learn html,
probably I'm wasting my time because my page takes a long time to organize
and it still isn't on some of the search engines.
Maybe you are able to give me a hint.
Have a look at my WebPages
http://www.ar.com.au /~helmut
and we can have more chats about art or as in my case
bauernmalerei-folkart, this is my hobby and I also teach it.
I'll come back to you some other time, nice meeting you
greetings to Anton.
Kind regards Helmut Jäger (helmut@ar.com.au)

I am the Fine Arts Guide at The Mining Company
http://finearts.miningco.com.
I regularly scour the Internet in search of top fine artists.
Hopefully, being listed in my gallery will generate additional publicity for you
and interest in your artwork. There is no fee or commission to be listed.
I am currently averaging approximately 9000 visitors a week to my site.
This is a brand new gallery, launched February 11, 1998.
You definitely got my attention!
I visited most of your pages today and I was very impressed with the work.
I particularly like the current "Divine Comedy" series.
I am quite intrigued with the frescoes. I was wondering if Anton would be interested
in my doing an interview of him as a feature article on my site?
It would be great to be able to include several of his works,
usually 6-8 to illustrate the article.
I would be willing to open up a fresco section in the Fine Arts Visitor's
Gallery at
http://finearts.miningco.com/library/gallery/blgallery1.htm,
if he could provide me with a good image to display there.

Hallo Anton Wed, 25 Feb 1998 17:23:07 -0500
Some 20 years ago my wife and I saw some of Anton's lithographs in a print
shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts. (The shop owner called him "Tony Krajnc"
and acted as if he knew him personally.) We purchased two, one of which was
"The Flag" which had then, I suppose, recently been released. We have
enjoyed these works greatly over the years, but lost track of what was
happening with the artist... Sun, 22 Feb 1998 22:45:52 EST
I sit at my computer in total amazement, I can't put to words the way Anton's
art has touched me. I feel so inadequate expressing my appreciation...
I have only just begun to explore the studio.....and my heart races as each
piece of art graces my screen and I know it is only a glimpse of the
beauty that haunts me everytime I stand in awe of Anton's creations. Thu, 19 Feb 1998 23:11:21 EST

Recently we've been looking around to add to our collection and it was a
great pleasure when, just out of curiosity, I put "Krajnc" into AltaVista
and was promptly directed to your magnificent web page. A few minutes
browsing informed me about an amazing range of work and the continuing
evolution of your style.
I found it especially interesting that you have been doing larger oil
canvases. Do you sell these directly or throught a dealer? Or are they all
commissions? The large canvas currently on the web, "Der Weg ist Das Ziel"
seems to contain some of the suggestive and mystical elements we admired in
the earlier lithographs (as much as one can discern
from 355x283 pixels... that's about 2 pixels per cm!)...
I look forward to hearing from you.
