Anton: I enjoyed your website and pictures of your journey on the camino de santiago.
I am an artist also, and walked from Chartres Cathedral, France, to Santiago in spring 1995.
Since then I have met and heard from several artists who have found material along the way.
It would be very interesting to see more of your book of paintings.
I hope to be back on the camino walking with a friend,
making more drawings next May. We will begin at Roncesvalles.
Your photographs also were very interesting despite the rainy weather.
Thank you for making the web-site and I look forward to more in the future.

Hello dear Anton, the way of St James is not only the days you spend on the way,
it is also the preparation and the finishing once you are back home,
and perhaps it'll never finish.
As I can see the way has given you a lot of inspiration.
This is also the case for me and Johan.
May'be you remember when we met in front of the closed door of the cathedral
in Leon.
Later on that day (you did 40 km of which in the evening several in the rain)
we met again in the restaurant in Villadangos del Paromo onTuesday the 19/9.
I like your artwork very much and the book made on your trip to Santiago de Compostela, congratulations.
All the best to you and I hope we'll have the chance once to meet again.

Do you remember us? the English couple on bicycles who were camping.
You met with us between Sahagun & El Burgo Raneros, on the "Real Camino Frances",
(the boring long, straight, grey gravel path on the high plains!)
We have just looked at your web site & were pleased to know that you had completed the Camino.
We often thought about your pushchair, while we were negotiating some of the
more difficult parts,
on our bikes. We arrived in Santiago on the 25th September,
& found the whole journey & especially the Statue of St James, very moving.
The "Pilgrims Mass" was certainly something we will never forget.
Shirley is currently writing a diary of our trip, which is rapidly turning into a book -
there is so much to write. Like you, we met so many interesting people along the way.
Do send us an e-mail if you ever come to Bath,
Congratulations from Shirley & Ken Cookes (cookes@stadstones.fsnet.co.uk)

I wish I was in sunny Arizona...
Wouldn't it be nice to be somewhere so sunny and hot -
the snow has just recently begun to fly and it's cold here in Calgary...
Thanks for inviting me to your website - it's really fun in there.
I absolutely love the bronze spheres!
And Anton, I wouldn't be surprised if Yosh starts making a new door
for their house - he thought yours was so amazing!

About the Camino de Santiago...
Will love to see this finished book. I remember your description
of making the paper for it and find the whole thing fascinating.
In fact, you both are so talented, I'm in awe of how you both have
used your skills and talents to produce such wonderful works of art.
And the pictures you've taken of such great artists --
many of them are gone, which makes your pictures priceless.

We originally bought 2 of your small color lithographs in 1976,
(in Albany NY) as we loved them immediately and they were affordable.
One is "Leaf Trap", and the other is similar, but the name has fallen off.
We were newly married and didn't have much.
In 1986 I was looking at a large lithograph at a small frame shop near Dallas
TX
and of course, I noticed right away that it was your work.
What a pleasant surprise, and I gave it to my husband for his birthday.
I have no idea of the name, but it is in a similar style as Leaf Trap,
it has 3 what I think of as door keys in the middle, lots of vines,
trees, etc, and architectural details. Oh well, how do you describe your work?
You just look at it and imagine. I snapped it up right away.
We've had them on our wall all this time, and we will never get tired of them.
I don't know what made me look you up on the web, but I did.
How nice to find your web site and see that you are still creating your wonderful work.

Dag,
I looked at the Camino site, http://www.flash.net/~akstudio/camino.thml
It would help to tell the visitors early on where that place is.
Because it said Santiago I thought it was in Chile!
Only after reading it again did I find a reference to Spain
hidden somewhere in the text.
Other than that, I've enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work!

First with the quality and range of your work; second, with your site.
It is very pleasing and inviting.

Hello,
I just came across your web site and I love it.
My first piece of fine art was a lithograph by Anton Krajnc
from the Original Print Collectors Group
(it has an egyptian scene, I cant remember its title).
I am interested in acquiring another print. Please send me any information
about available prints and how to purchase them.
Thanks

I currently have about 20 of Anton's lithographs that I accumulated
in the late '70s and early '80s and I would like to add to the collection.
I always treasured his lithographs because each time you looked at them
you saw something new. It is a bit like listening to Bach.
It is always different.

Ina's Karin just forwarded your message about the new sculptures -
I am blown away, as always when I see Anton's work.
So now I am a subscriber to your news flashes!
I have been following your life and career secondhand,
first through my mother and now through Ina.
And I always hoped for a chance meeting. So far it never happened.
Maybe you come this way in the future - we have a small Bed and Breakfast
here at the Northern border of Utah on beautiful Bear Lake and,
of course, you are always more than welcome!
Ina once sent me one of Anton's calendars -
unfortunately it got swiped in the mail! I was untröstlich for weeks.
I will be watching for new works - maybe someday I will be able to afford one or two.
Liebe Grüsse

Gegroet, Dagmar. Your site is interesting. I did already visit it some time ago
and I always like what you have to say. You're alright Dagmar,
and that Anton is lucky to have such a devoted wife!
Why is it always the male-artists that have those loving wives,
that are totally committed to their work and manage to handle the rest of those tedious things?
(Lisa also talked about promoting her husbands work and haven't there
been numerous examples in the past? Elaine de Kooning for one. )
Isn't it bloody hot in your place right now (wasn't it Arizona?)
It sounded like a wonderful place like you discribed it, with drumparties,
starry nights and bonfires...
Well, gotta dash for now, Sunday will be the opening of my exhibition.

ci vediamo in luglio!

Dagmar,
I swung by your site, and it just keeps getting bigger and better.
Every time I see that comment where you were too old to learn
something like html and web site design I get a good laugh --
or at least a snort at the attitudes some folks have. :)
A friend of mine who took a look at your site noticed the same thing,
and made the same comment.

I am so happy I found your web page. I bought an artists proof
of a print called "Dreams of Magic" in 1986, the small gallery had no
information on the artist, all I had to go on was your signature.
Your signature is better than physicians, but, forgive me, not a lot better.
I have been searching the internet for information on an artist
about whom I knew only that his last name began with "Kra".
After seeing your signature on the web site and reviewing your work
there
I believe you are the artist who created Dreams of Magic.
It graces my law office, a small wondrous window onto an ever changing world,
in an otherwise relatively bleak environment.
I paid for it with my rent money and was happy to do so.
Thank you for creating your art.

Mr. Krajnc,
I have acquired several of your pieces from a collector friend of mine

I would like to learn more about the pieces in my collection.

I will be happy to put a link to your site from the album.
I am also working on a website, and will place another link there.
You did a wonderful job on your website. It is very easy to navigate,

Will you be travelling to the Northeast this coming year?

My father liked the latest jokes,

We got him to the computer room in the place where he lives,

He wouldn't actually play with the computer himself,
but was very interested in your website, and in the paintings,
lithos, and sculpture, which we printed out for him -
to look at and read the text. He's having some trouble with his eyes,

Hello Anton
Thank you for your consistent presence on the internet.
I have been
observing your work since 1996!
I am, too, an artist and mainly a graphic
designer.
I look forward to meeting you someday
in regards to understanding
how you accomplished your fresco work.
Btw: I just recently visited the Monet exhibit at the Phoenix Museum of Art.
Along with this exhibit was a collection called the TAOS collection,
featuring artists as Ufer, O'Keefe and many other southwestern artists
commissioned by the Federal workers act during the early thirties.
One main
piece worth mentioning is a fresco design piece saved from an old building,
with proposal sketches.
I can't recall the artists, but I am sure you will
find them worth visiting.
Happy New Year!

Man
HERMANN HESSE

We have a secluded guestroom and we will share

da bekommt man ja wahnsinnig Lust gleich hinzufahren!

Dear Dagmar and Anthony,
Thank you so much for your generous hospitality!
It was one of the
highlights of my surprise trip!
Maria has spoken of you each time we
have been in Arizona
and there was never a right time to get to Tucson.
I am so thankful that we were able to visit with you.
You are both very
gifted artists and gracious hosts!
Dagmar, I am very impressed with your web pages!
I'm just sure my
kids are going to help me get in the swing of things
with my own web
page one of these days.
I'm afraid my life isn't very exciting so they
are not in a big hurry to help their mother.
Thank you again for a wonderful visit!
The studio tour was very
special and I loved your cake!
Sincerely,
Kathy Kolb xoxox
