Here's my pseudo-poem from December '98:

The Night of the Concert

'Twas the night of the concert, and through the club,
No one was sitting, not even to chow down some grub.
The stage was all ready, set up with great care,
In hopes that Anything Box, soon would be there.
The people were all nestled tight near the stage,
While synthpop music encouraged dancing to engage.
With me in my 45 tee-shirt, and camera in hand,
I settled up close to take pictures of the band.
When suddenly the lights dimmed, and all became quiet,
More people rushed up towards the front in a riot.
Up closer to the stage more and more people dashed,
Deep within the darkness someone's camera flashed.
Then some stage lights came on with a glow,
And everyone knew it was time for the show.
Then whom to our excitement should appear,
But Anything Box, whom we all came to hear.
Yet another show for me, but the first show for others,
We were all like a family, everyone's sisters and brothers.
As soon as the band took the stage, we were glad we came,
The crowd whistled and shouted and called them by name.
"Anything Box! Anything Box!" screamed out the crowd.
"Anything Box! Anything Box!" the hollered out loud.
"Oh, Claude! Oh, Gary!" and a hearty, "oh, Paul!"
"Anything Box is the greatest band of them all!"
The three took their places and settled in,
As the crowd waited eagerly for them to begin.
Claude took the mic, Gary checked his keyboard,
And Paul grabbed his guitar and strummed out a chord.
And so they began, there was no hesitating,
They started off with an acoustic Lady In Waiting.
When it was finished, there was no delay,
The next acoustic selection was Just One Day.
Then it was time to turn up the heat,
Get Gary involved and pump up the beat.
So what came next? What could it possibly be?
The crowd went wild as they performed Answer Me.
Claude went to the back behind the drum kit,
He got the crowd jumping with each pounding hit.
the show kept on going, great song after great song,
What ever they played was awesome, you couldn't go wrong.
Automatons, Jubilation, Conscious, Doubt,
Carmen, Dirt, Negaverse, all had their clout.
then Gary grabbed the mic and took control with a bang,
As he beat-boxed Kiss of Love, while Claude sang.
On keyboards and guitar, Paul was simply great,
With the girls in the audience begging him for a date.
Heaven60, Living In Oblivion, 45, I Felt the Pain,
The great songs just kept coming up, again and again.
What a performance, the band was displaying,
It all was well worth it, without me further saying.
Suddenly, everything was quiet, the crowd was able to rest,
Knowing that this show was one of Anything Box's best.
Just when I thought it was over, I heard Claude exclaim,
"So you thought it was the end? Well you're wrong once again!"

Yes, it's cheesy and a little outdated (I miss the drum kit), but I say "what the heck, put it on the sight."
