as the the Ninja Turtles. They were all dressed up in the bandanas and the
belts at least!

Disney Anti-Drug Cartoon
Awhile ago, Disney did an anti-drug cartoon with lots of popular cartoon characters
explaining the evils of drugs. One of the characters they used was
Michaelangelo.

There was one ep of "Tiny Toons" in which Plucky was looking for an
idea for a superhero and he said something like: "A Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtle?"

There was an episode called "Slug Fest" and it was about the "Immature
Radioactive Samurai Slugs." It's pretty funny, actually!

Good guys were chasing bad
on carriages pulled by horses {In Paris??? I think} and went into the
sewers and two {supposedly} ninja Turtles on their backs crying. The title was "And All that Rot."

popular culture has succesfully irradicated the actual identitys of

left and when Garfield and Odie went looking for him, they found a note
saying something like: "To Whoever Cares: Got sick of doing sounds for you

From the very first episode, after the mice rescue the
"obligatory female" from the "obligatory stupid villain", she
(Charlie) comments on being rescued by....
(Charlie) Giant Gerbils?
(Throttle) We're mice, ma'am.
(Charlie) Mice?
(Throttle) Mice.
(Charlie) Riiiight.
(Modo) You were expecting, maybe, turtles?
