Map to Mineral Wells State Park

The Exit to Lake Mineral Wells State Park is approximately 2.5 miles east of the Mineral Wells City Limits

Each Mineral Wells climber will need to sign in at the front gate and pay a $5.00 entrance fee. The climbing area is at the far northern end of the park, on the east side of the lake. The road to the climbing area parking lot is marked by signs as you drive past the visitor center. Once you are at the climbing area parking lot, hike north along the trail for approximately 75 yards. You will see the climbing area on your left, and then you will come to a set of stairs that will lead you down into the climbing area. The climbing guides will meet you in the climbing area at 8:00am on the day of your trip. We should be easy to locate because the area is not very big.

CAUTION! There are cliffs on your left as you hike down the trail, so keep an eye on little children!!
