Joseph Looney

     Joseph Looney b. 1840-44 in TN (?).
     We have been unable to find Joseph prior to the 1870 census.

     Circa 1860, in Hamilton Co. TN., Joseph married Almeda Penney,
     daughter of Thomas Penney and Malinda Gann.

     Jospeh and Almeda Looney are listed in the
     1870 Hamilton Co. TN census with four children,
     	William              b.  1862
     	Andrew               b.  1865
     	Mary E.,             b.  1868
     	Melia C. (Catherine) b.  1869

     The 1880 census finds them in Wayne Co., MO
     and by 1890 they are in Bollinger Co. MO.
     Four more children were born in MO.
     	Joseph A.            b.  1874
     	James A.             b.  1878
     	Charles F.           b.  1884
     	Cora Isabel          b.  1886

     Another Looney family, Arthur G. and his sons, Edward
     and Benjamin Franklin Looney, were in Bollinger Co., MO.
     prior to the arrival of Joseph and Almeda.

     Joseph Looney died in Zalma, Bollinger Co., MO. October 1895.
