Elizabeth Looney

  Regarding Elizabeth Looney, I am of the opinion that she was a
  sister to John Looney who married Margaret Hillard of Marion Co., TN.
  Tilton shows this John Looney (b. 1797 perhaps Stanley Valley,
  Hawkins Co., TN; d. 1822 Marion Co., TN) to be the son of Robert
  Looney (b. 1778; d. 1830), son of Benjamin Looney (b. 1748; d. 1783)
  and Mary Johnson.

  Does anyone have any information on John Looney's father, Robert?
  Who was Robert's wife?  Were there children other than John?  Tilton
  does not name a wife for Robert or any siblings other than John
  Looney.
