I wish that I could provide more info. I am descended from James Bascom Looney b. 11/18/1874 Hawkins Co., Tn d. 4/3/1955 Lenoir, NC. His mother was Cynthia Arlevia Starnes and I believe that his father was "Samuel Looney" and that they were married in Hawkins Co., Tn 2/19/1873.
