Coyd (6) Amaziah Looney (David5 A., Joseph4 B., Joseph3) was born 13 April 1875, died 19 September 1959. He went to Oregon in December 1898 to the Garfield section of eastern Clackamas County where his maternal uncle, Clifton N. Sarver had resided for several years. Coyd married (1) 29 March 1905 Nora Hale, daughter of Lindsay Hale of the Currinsville section, and they lived on a farm in the Garfield section. near Estacada. Mrs. Nora Looney died 3 February 1909. Coyd married (2) in Virginia, 13 March 1912, Rose E. Paxton, daughter of H. G. Paxton of New Castle, Virginia. Their children:

He married at Vansant, Virginia, 15 April 1897 Matilda Bertha Boyd born 7 May 1881, died 1907. Adolphus married (2) Louvena Church born 3 July 1870, died 1 January 1943. He lived, died, and is buried at the mouth of Lynn Camp Creek, Buchanan County, Virginia, on land he inherited from his father. He married Sarah Augusta Ramey born Pike County, Kentucky, 11 January 1880, died 14 May 1950 in Buchanan County. They had:
