Homebuilt Aircraft

This is one of the ways I goof off. I'm building an airplane similar to this one. This one belongs to Adrian Carter in Canada, I just stole his picture because it is pretty much plans-built without major modifications. Mine will have this kind of retractable gear and bubble canopy.

This is a KR-2, a homebuilt airplane designed by Rand-Robinson Engineering. It uses an engine similar to a Volkswagen and, if I ever finish it, should cruise at a speed of 150 mph. All of this assumes that I'll have the nerve to plant my gluteous maximus in this sucker and actually light the fire! Amateur Radio

Politics and Government

Another way I waste time is POLITICS! I am the Republican Precinct chairman for Hunt County, TX pct. 217. I wasn't always a Republican, in the 1968 election I worked for the George Wallace campaign. I can't help it, I was young and foolish! They paid me two cents each for passing out flyers. Hey, I was 7 years old, it was easy to buy me back then!
