I record using my home computer. I play and sing all tracks. Drums are looped, everything else is me.

I have the songs listed in date order, with the most recent recording at the top. I've also edited the list to show you which ones are my favorites.

These songs tend to run a little hot (EQ), so you might want to turn your equalizer down (closer to flat), or just off. Windows Media users won't hear this as much as WinAmp users will.

You can right mouse click, and save these on your computer:

Slight remix on 3 Dec 2005. Added some clean guitars, raised drum and vocal levels.

This song probably has the best "hook" out of all of them. You'll be singing this one all day long. It is tied for "my favorite" song.

I recently re-worked the vocals (new condenser microphone) and added a little 12 string guitar part in the chorus. Sadly, the 12 string part is different than the song's existing chord progression... so it looks like I'll be re-rerecording (at least the bass guitar) to use the new (superior) chord pattern. It's only 1 note different. but it clashes right now, and the 12 string part is a keeper.

Dec 4, 2005 HOLY COW. Re-recording was done in 2 days and about 80 tracks. It is a better song than it used to be. I added more melody, acoustics, synth, the list goes on an on.

I re-recorded this, and I tried to fill in some of the holes from the previous version.

First draft. Sloppy timing, sloppy mix. Drums are still a metronome. I'll do the real drums and clean it up next time I record it. In it's current form (2 verses, 2 chorus, no solo, no intro) it is only 1 minute and 32 seconds long.

This is a preliminary version. Keep an eye on it as it develops. I re-did the bass completely. It helped alot.

24 Sept 2005

This song is new (Sept 2005) and rough. A first draft. It needs a guitar solo after the second chorus, so that part is still blank.

People either love or hate the Care Bear reference, but everyone remembers the Lalalas (nice hook). There are some corny lyrics here because I was trying to be sarcastic. I think that sometimes people don't understand my intent.

On the plus side, there is an excellent guitar riff, and some good vocal work.

An old song for me with some new acoustic and some new electric guitar parts.

This song makes guitar players sit down and play along. It's fun to play along with.

Initially this song wasn't that great. It's better now, but maybe still not great.

Weirdly, it does very well on forums where I've posted it. I would think that Benefits Of Lies blows it away, but sometimes Betrayal wins.

This isn't a new song, it's a few months old. but I re-recorded it to try and improve it. I am sure I could keep working it (it could use a second verse, eh?) but let's go ahead and post it now.

If I update it again, I'll publish the update. This one isn't bad.

I like the whole idea of this song. It really needs a second verse. And it needs to be remixed, it's too loud and twangy. Slight remix on 13 Oct 2005, but no fixes yet :)
