"Doyle" Ruben Lowell Anderson, 58, passed away on Sunday, June 29th, 2008 in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 3rd, 1949 in Waco, Texas to Elmer Otis and Willie Lena Anderson. Doyle is survived by 5 children: Dennis Anderson & wife Kim, Melissa Whatley & husband Antwain, Hiram Brown & wife Carissa, Lonnie Reynolds & wife Pei, and Angela Foret & husband Craig; 5 grandchildren: Bianca, Desiree, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Josh; great-grandson Paul III; many nieces & nephews and very special friends.
Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008, at Aldine Funeral Chapel, 9504 Airline Drive, Houston, Texas, 77037-2208, phone 281-591-6055. Funeral Services with Pastor Larry Young officiating were held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3rd, 2008, at First Baptist Church Heights located at 201 East 9th Street, Houston, Texas 77007, phone 713-861-3102. The casket was open at the church immediately before the service beginning at 12:30 P.M. Immediately following the service there was a police procession from First Baptist Church Heights to Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery located at 1101 Antoine Drive at Katy Freeway, in Houston, Texas, phone 713-682-3663 for committal rites and interment.
Doyle will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
