Steve Tyler Williams, 61, passed away on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 20th, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Maxine Doris Ahrlett and Myres Jethro Williams. Steve served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict and received an Honorable Discharge for his service and was also awarded the Purple Heart.
Steve was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by his son Wayne Williams & wife Karla; 2 granddaughters: Natasha Williams and Estelle Williams; sister Judy Donaho; brother Phillip Williams; 2 nephews: Michael Donaho & wife Julie and Josh Williams; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Military Honor Services with V.F.W. District #4 Ceremonial Detail rendering Military Honors were held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 12th, 2008, in the VA Chapel at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686.
