ECI'JA (RA Nascat x *La Linda SSB)
Broodmare supreme!  She combines the best of Spanish, Russian, and Egyptian breeding.  1994 flaxen chestnut mare, Top Five WP Snaffle Bit Futurity, Scottsdale, 1997; winner in WP Jr. Horse, 1998.    Her 2001 filly by Wild Flame is exquisite!  Her 2003 Bask Flame filly is just as nice.

Reference Sires and Dams

        Stallions

Wild Flame (Bask Flame x Coyote)
The foundation of our breeding program, we were privileged to care for Wild Flame for 17 years.  He became part of the family, and his passing in 2000 has left a huge empty space in our lives.  See more about him, his foals, and his pedigree on our Stallion page.
Bask Flame (*Bask x Mudira)
Sire of Wild Flame.  Producer of many National, Regional and Show Champions for many years.  We were sorry to hear of his passing in late 2002.

Salima de Washoe (Imagin x *Salina SSB)
Sire of Coyote, dam of Wild Flame.  Half Spanish, with Image and *Raffles close up on his sire's side.  He was linebred to the Skowronek daughter Jalila through both his sire (through *Rasmina) and dam (through Nana-Sahib).

        Mares

Coyote (Salima de Washoe x Brusally Skorany)
Our very first horse, and dam of Wild Flame.  She produced 6 foals, showed successfully in Halter and Western Pleasure, and was an all-around family horse.  She passed her disposition and beauty on to all her foals.  Pictured in Western Pleasure at the New Mexico State Fair.
JRDS Rosebud (Rockin Robin Bid x Skips Valley Queen)  Double registered Paint and Pinto.  Shown successfully in Halter, Pinto Color Classes, and Western Pleasure, she produced 3 overo pinto foals and two solid chestnuts with lost of white markings.  All are big, athletic, and all that have been shown are Halter Champions!    Pictured at age 4 with her 12 year old JOTR rider.

Champions We've Produced

Sun Danser (Sun Bask x Coyote)
Nationals competitor in Hunter Pleasure and Show Hack in 1989.  AHANM High Point Purebred Gelding in 1988, 1989, and 1990. US National Top Ten Working Hunter in 1991. Region 8 Champion Working Hunter and National Champion Purebred Jumper in 1993.  Deceased.
Magik Flame (Bask Flame x Lady Sabra)
Many times champion in Halter and Hunter Pleasure.  Region 8 Champion in Show Hack in 1992.  Pictured as the 1985 AHANM Halter Futurity Champion Gelding when he was a 3-yr-old.
Flames Carousel (Bask Flame x Coyote)
Scottsdale Top Ten in Halter as a 2-yr-old.  Show Champion in Halter and Most Classic Arabian before becoming a broodmare.  From Bask Flame's first foal crop, she was a representative of her sire's ability to produce the highest quality, and lived in the Adams' Arabians Show Barn in Scottsdale until she was 3 years old.  She also showed successfully in Western Pleasure and Hunter Pleasure, and after surviving colic surgery is still a favorite riding horse at Caballos del Sol.  Even at the age of 23, she thrills visitors when she strikes her halter pose!
She's The Top (Top Contender x Shah Zaada)
With a National Champion halter sire, this mare was expected to be pretty, but she's also a great athlete.  With experience in Western Pleasure and Costume, and as a bearer of the New Mexico state flag in horse show opening ceremonies, she had a good beginning.  She's gone on to be US National Top Ten in Dressage.
Frost 'n Flame  (Wild Flame x JRDS Rosebud)
Exported to Canada as a weanling, "Frosty" instantly won the hearts of her new owners with her beauty and intelligence.  Shown 5 times in 2000, she ended the season by being named Region 18 Champion yearling Half-Arabian filly.  She took the 2001 season off to grow up with her friends in the pasture, and was started under saddle in the spring of 2002.  She is expected to compete as a Hunter, with fences in her future.
