Our Foundation Stallion

Wild Flame produced beautiful heads, long necks, long legs, and smooth bodies out of mares of many types and breeds.  A majority of his get are chestnut with socks and a star or blaze, out of mares of all colors.  He consistently reduced the amount of white exhibited by the mare, and improved overall quality and conformation.  His get mature taller than their dams, and many are also taller than his own 15.2 hand height.  He has two overo Pinto Half-Arab daughters out of an overo Paint mare.  Wild Flame produced  beauty, size, fantastic disposition, athletic ability, and a willing attitude. 

Wild Flame suffered a broken leg and had to be put down May 1, 2000.  This was quite a blow to us and our breeding program, and he is missed terribly.  However, we were blessed with two beautiful chestnut fillies in the spring of 2001, a purebred and a Half-Arab.

First and foremost a family horse and a gentleman, Wild Flame loved babies (both horse and human) and geldings.  A multi-champion in halter and performance, he was 1998 Trinity AHA Champion Stallion (at age 15); 1997 high point Turquoise Circuit (3 shows) Hunter Pleasure; 1988 and 1989 high point all-around AHANM Purebred Arabian.  He was shown in halter and performance by a youth and a lady.

Also an ambassador for his breed, Wild Flame participated in fun trail rides, demonstrations in Arabian Native Costume at social and political gatherings, and carried the US and New Mexico flags in horse show grand entries.  In the show ring he won in Halter Open and AOTH; Native Costume; Hunter Pleasure Open, AOTR, and JOTR; Show Hack Open and AOTR; Country English Pleasure Open, AOTR and JOTR; English Pleasure Open and AOTR; Western Pleasure Open and AOTR.
