It's been four years since Roses was shown.  There were many reasons for this, one of which was the youngsters coming up who needed more of our attention, but we've adjusted our schedules to once again allow us to show this wonderful mare.

With only a few days' preparation, Roses went to the AHANM All-Breed Training Show on March 7.  She was entered in four performance classes and two halter classes.  Here are the results:
     Walk-Trot, English or Hunt, Open (our warm-up class) - 1st
     Sport Horse Under Saddle - 1st
     Hunter Pleasure,  ATR 18 and over - 1st
     Hunter Pleasure Championship - 1st
     Half-Arabian or Mixed Breed Halter, Open - 1st

She's BACK, and showing her championship-winning ways once again!

The spring rains kept our barn and work areas nearly under water most of late March and early April, making it impossible to work horses.  In spite of that, we decided to take Roses to the Trinity All Arabian Horse Shows I and II in Alamogordo, NM April 17-19.  At least there was a dry arena to work in!  And she gave everything she had.  Here are the results:
