The Things Kids Say

Amanda and Sage were spending the night. We had been playing Chinese Checkers for about an hour and Amanda had beaten me badly five times, so I called a "time out" for refreshments.

I went to the refrigerator to see what I had. All I could find was ice cream. "Who wants ice cream?", I asked.

They both hollered, "I do."

I looked down at Sage (all 25 pounds of her) and teased, "You're too little to eat ice cream."

She put her hands on her hips and looked up at me and said, "Grammy, I'm not to little to eat my Mommy's ice Cream."
