All Crews Working TWC Territory
The FRA has ruled that whenever track warrants are issued directly to the recepient from the train dispatcher, all involved must use the language of "X Box_". This is the only acceptable phrase. All others could result in penalties issued by the FRA.
As part of the monitoring of activities, the FRA is listening to all conversations as they occur, or are listening to the recording tapes (A procedure that is done as part of the effeciency testing process) to insure that compliance with this guideline is being followed.
So remember -- "X" marks the box.

BNSF Policy on Leaving Unattended Locomotives
Make note of the following policy in effect on the BNSF railroad involving unattended locomotives while on their property: If it is a light engine consist, the power must be parked onto a track which is equipped with a derail. If no such track is available, then it must be left with at least one car that is equipped with an operative handbrake.
Should it be discovered that there is a light consist unattended, and it does not meet either of the above criteria, it will be viewed the same as having rolled away from the location where they were found. The individual(s) who left them there will be, upon being identified, be removed from service.
