
Just out of curiosity, my wife kept track of how many trick or treaters we had. The total was 56. They had some imaginative, well done and creative costumes.
It seems to me we had very little fall, and then it was instant winter.
Weather is beginning to play a part again in our work. Rain is slowing down progress on construction projects.
We all need to use caution for all walking areas at our work sites. Muddy areas can be very slick.
The two new sidings at Chico are now in service and are being utilized.
The new office building in Mesquite is being bricked and sheet rocked. Electrical work is being done this week. Once the inspections are done, completion should progress well.
There is still work being done by Maintenance of Way forces at Tower 55 under the direction of Charles Cutrer.
Ney Yard has material on hand waiting for the go-ahead.
It is now time for us all to be making plans for Thanksgiving. Most of us have so much to be thankful for that we take for granted.
Some of us have made progress on Christmas shopping -- not me. Have pleasant and safe shopping.
