Jan Stephenson recently left St. Louis, Missouri, where she was a Customer Service Representative, to come to Fort Worth as a Supervisor of Yard Operation.
She has been with the Union Pacific eight years. She has previously been at Fort Worth during for a short time as an implementer during the ATCS cut-over, but returned to Customer Service when that assignment was over. She decided she liked it here, and when the opportunity arose for a transfer here she took it.
Jan was raised in Colombia and Jefferson City, Missouri, and attended Southeastern Missouri State College, majoring in business administration.
Her hobby is running. She recently won a First Place Trophy in her age group (She wouldn't tell us the group). She also likes to travel, especially to London, where she enjoys its theater.
When asked if she is married, Jan says, "No, it's just me and my doggie. She's a German Sheppard, named 'Maggie.'"
