November 22, Carolyn Gary, Conductor, on Dodger 9, recognizes Brakeman Jim Lindsey and Engineer David Youngblood. When leaving the BOP yard for Southwest South, before reaching Sears' Crossing, they noticed a 2 foot slab of cast iron that had been placed between the rails and prevented a possible derailment and damage to the locomotive.

November 28, Yardmaster Gary Lindsey recognizes Al Lopez of YFW35 who found bad rail in 37 Bowl. His action on this averted a possible derailment.
