Last Week, I was in my old store getting some things read to sell at the Cattle Barn Flea Market they have every weekend, when I came across a very old looking box.
I knew it had to be something good. It was a box of old gas lights. I had taken them out of my parents old two story Victorian home in Downtown Fort Worth on Weatherford Street in the 1960's.

The city bought a lot of the beautiful old homes on Belknap and Weatherford Streets to make way for the bridge over the Santa Fe Railroad tracks.
The lamps were still connected to the gas pipes, although they had been turned off years ago.
The house was built about 1896. I am going to place the lamps in my home for display.
