Hats off to the Centennial yard team. We have been injury free for the last 115 days.
If you have been watching ITV you would of noticed that this is the second time that we have been to 115 days without a reportable injury. This occurred because one of the incidents that we had earlier this year ended up being a reportable injury due to lost time. Prior to losing time on this injury we celebrated our 150th injury free day with a safety dinner catered by Soda Springs Bar-B-Q.
We served a total of 320 people at three meals. I'd like to thank Tony Hatley and Dennis Mitchell for all of their efforts in coordinating this dinner and their help in serving.
We also had the privilege of celebrating Conductor W.E. "Wimpy" Morgan's retirement at the dinner. Conductor Morgan was presented a watch by Superintendent Dan Shudak and MTO Glenn Neasbitt.

We have many challenges ahead of us in the future. We must run our trains on schedule, increase our average train speeds, and again show our customers that we are the premier railroad in the country.
It is imperative that we keep focused and continue maintain the highest safety standards as we achieve our service goals. We have begun to post our on time train performance on ITV, stay tuned and watch our numbers rise, I know that with the talent that we have at Fort Worth we will not be long in running our trains 100 percent on time.
If anyone has any ideas, come on by and let me buy you a cup of coffee or give me a call at 817-878-4499.
