Guys of The Big "D" Jamboree
This collection
of rare and unreleased recordings is a companion piece to last year's The Gals
of the Big "D" Jamboree, and completes the "various artists" releases scheduled
for this historic project. It features outstanding studio and live recordings
by some of the southwest's most talented and overlooked performers, as well as
two very early unreleased tracks from singing legend Lefty Frizzell. Standout
cuts include Riley Crabtree's Go Cat Go (live), Jimmy Fields' Your Picture On
The Wall, blind performer Leroy Jenkins' Hard Luck Hard Time Blues (which
sounds like a track that's straight out of the movie Oh Brother, Where Art
