This 46 y/o female presented to the ER with nausea, vomiting and severe headache. Selected images from her non-contrast enhanced head CT show subarachnoid hemorrhage, a small amount of blood in the third ventricle and findings consistent with a tip of the basilar artery aneurysm. Angiography confirms the basilar tip aneurysm and shows poor flow to the brain vasculature consistent with edema.
