This 49 y/o male presented with swelling of the left lower mandible. Selected axial and coronal CT images shown above demonstrate an expansile "cystic" lesion of the mandible with some adjacent sclerotic change. The appearance is compatible with a mandibular ameloblastoma. A wide surgical excision was undertaken and confirmed the diagnosis.
