This 46 y/o female was referred for evaluation of pelvic discomfort. She related a long history of recurrent "bladder infections" and "urethritis". Selected images from her transvaginal pelvic sonogram shown above demonstrate findings consistent with a female urethral diverticulum. Spot films from a double balloon urethragram demonstrate a large diverticulum.
