Head CT non contrast

This 44 y/o female was in good health until presentation to the Emergency Room with sudden onset of coma. There was no Hx of drug use/abuse, diabetes, or hypertension. Neurologic exam revealed deep coma and bilateral positive Babinski signs. Selected images from her head CT are displayed above and demonstrate a ruptured giant intracranial aneurysm.
