WASHINGTON Elwha Iron From: Steve Howell <howell@sqi.com> David G. Brown Comments: ...my shop is part of a State Park, and as such an admission fee is charged, even if you are only coming in to visit the Blacksmith. The park is closed Mondays, and Wednesday is my regular day off. Any 'smith who wishes to visit wearing historically correct clothing for 1871, is welcome to come all the way in and pick up a hammer. Let me know in advance and "volunteer" status might be arranged, thereby bypassing the admission fee. The only fee at that point is that visiting 'smiths share their knowledge and maybe find some technique or project to teach me. From: David G. Brown "Dave B." <quahog@netnet.net> Joe Baer From Joe Baer <jbaer@newnorth.net> Rodger K. Snyder Comments: It's always a pleasure to help educate the curious visitor on the art of blacksmithing.
