Youth and Young Adult Ministry:

High School Youth Ministry
This is for all students in grades 9 - 12. The ministry provides service, fellowship, spirituality, and community building. This is done through sessions and activities. Youth leadership is strongly encouraged.

Junior Youth Ministry
This ministry is open to all students in grades 6 - 8. The ministry provides service, fellowship, spirituality, and community building. This is done through sessions and activities.

Young Adult Ministry
Is for those individuals and couples who are in the ages of 18 - 35. This ministry provides opportunities for young adults to come together and share in the life of the Church through service, prayer, and ministry.

Outreach Ministries:

Saint Vincent de Paul
Members of this ministry reach out to those who are in need of the necessities for life. They provide in the spirit of prayer to the needy and the sick of the parish.

Jail Ministry
This ministry is reaching out to those who are in prison or jail through bible studies and communion service. In addition those who minister to incarcerated assist in the need to prepare for the sacraments of the church.

Bereavement Ministry
This ministry assists those who are grieving the loss of a family member. Members of this ministry assist by providing meals on the day of the funeral as well as assist in the preparation of the funeral litergy.

Volver (Come Back: Gather the Family)
This group of dedicated individuals reaches out to the larger community to assist those who are searching to find a home. In addition to reaching out to the unchurched this group assists those who desire to re-enter the community.

Religious Formation:

Children's Formation (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
The ministry of forming our children of the community is done through weekly sessions with a catechist. The sessions stress the scriptures and our Catholic traditions and teachings.

Baptismal Formation
Formation of parents and godparents is done through a dedicated team of lay people who assist those attending in coming to a deeper understanding of the sacrament about to be celebrated. Sessions are held throughout the parish.

RCIA Team
This ministry is journeying with those who are looking ar becoming a member of our community either through being Baptized or coming in from another faith. This is also an opportunity for those who were Baptized Catholics but never finished the sacraments of initiation to complete them.

RCIA Sponsor
This ministry is an opportunity for members of our parish to be a companion with someone who desires to enter the Church either through Baptism or from another faith.

Bible Study
Different Bible Studies are offered throughout the parish on different topics. Look to the parish bulletin for topics and places.

Vacation Bible School
This summer event helps children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade to learn more about the scriptures and their faith.

Marriage Preparation
Married couples assist in the preparation of engaged couples through one on one sessions. Through this mentoring program engaged couples come to a deeper understanding of what married life is all about.

Societies and other ministry opportunities:

Buildings and Grounds
These committees assist in maintaining the buildings and grounds by organizing and long range planning of the parish's buildings and grounds.

Development Committee
This group of dedicated individuals who work to help the community come to an understanding of how we are called to be faithful stewards of the gifts God has given us. They also look at ways of funding our projects and ministries.

Office Volunteer
There is a great deal of behind the scenes work that is done by the parish pastoral team. Many times there is a need for volunteers to assist in mailing or other activities.

Money Counting Ministry
Each week we have teams of volunteers who come and assist in counting the weekly contributions of the community.

Mount Carmel Society
This group of dedicated women works to assist in reaching out to those hurting at a funeral and assisting in different ministries of the Church.

Sacred Heart League
This group of dedicated women works to assist in reaching out to those hurting at a funeral and assisting in different ministries of the Church.

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Society
This group of dedicated women works to assist in reaching out to those hurting at a funeral and assisting in different ministries of the Church.

Liturgical Ministries:

Altar Servers
This ministry is open to all children who have received their First Communion as well as all youth of the parish. Those participating in this ministry will be assigned to serve at weekend liturgies as well as special liturgies.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic Ministers
This ministry is open to any adult or youth of the parish who can receive communion. The ministry involves being assigned to help distribute communion at liturgies as well as assist in distributing communion to the sick and shut ins of the parish.

Hospitality Ministry
This ministry is open to any person of the parish and involves greeting people as they arrive at the church and assisting them in finding a seat. It would also involve helping the Mayordomos to find people to bring the gifts as well as any other activity of making people feel welcome to the community.

Lector Ministry
This ministry os open to any member of the parish who would like to proclaim the Word for the Assembly. Those in this ministry would be assigned to read at weekend liturgies as well as special liturgies.

Music Ministry
This is open to anyone who would like to sing or play an instrument for our Liturgies. You do not have to know how to read music to participate in our Music Ministry. There is no limit to the kinds and variety of instruments we would use. All music is a prayer to our Lord.

Environment and Art
This ministry is for those who would like to help with the decorating of the Church for the different seasons as well as the preparation of banners and other elements used to enhance our liturgical space.
