These days my focus is to develop techniques to allow an amateur like myself to "see" q-bursts and eventually be able to detect sprites. This search has led me to develop techniques that may be of interest to others.

Here you will find my latest attempts to dig 8Hz signal dynamics out of the noise of a suburban environment. I will show you the electronics I have been using, and also signal analysis techniques using wavelets. This approach is based on a freely available stat analysis and graphing package called R.
