About the band...

Galactic Cowboys...once known as "The Awful Truth", & more recently nicknamed..."The Partridge Family on Acid", hail from Houston, Texas.
Their sound is somewhat similar to King's X, but with more anger.
The band has returned to their label, Metal Blade...after getting screwed by Geffen, much like King's X & Atlantic...& are doing fairly well despite little to no airplay...they too, like King's X are too good for the current radio scene.
All I can say is these guys are great!!!!!
You've got nothing to lose!!!!!
