Who Are We?

The ( W R G ) Group began as and continues to be a group of Amateur Radio enthusiasts who built and maintain a group of UHF repeaters that are linked together across the "North Central Texas" area. The group developed this system so that they would have wide area coverage allowing them to stay in touch with each other, and anyone else who cared to join in, as they went about their day to day business.
Some of the members like work together to build repeaters, work on tower installations, remote bases, or link sites. Others, just like to talk.
With the wide area that the system covers, it is often used to provide various communications across several counties during severe weather. The system can also be utilized for special communications, depending on the circumstances.
