Download BEP for Windows(TM)

To download the software, simply click on the link below. A single executable file will be downloaded to your computer. If you have little experience with Microsoft Windows, it is recommended that you become familiar with it or obtain the assistance of a friend or colleague who can assist you before proceeding. To install the software, simply follow these instructions.

1. Download the program to your computer
   
   
2. For current versions of Windows: Select "RUN" from the START MENU and use the hard drive path where the dowloaded file was placed to find the file named: BEPSETUP.EXE. If installing under earlier versions of Windows (e.g., V3.1), use the Program Manager and select "Run" (under the File menu option). Again, use the hard drive path where the downloaded file was placed to find the file named: BEPSETUP.EXE.
   
   
3. Before initiating the installation, the setup program will first provide you with the opportunity to cancel the procedure. Click on the "OK" button to proceed.
   
   
4. The setup program will prompt you for a directory name. The text box will be filled with "C:\hpm" which is the recommended default directory name. You can change this to whatever you wish. Windows will create a folder with this name in which all installed HPM files will reside. In addition, HPM software will produce files (e.g., subject databse files, etc.) that will also reside here. (Note: If you are updating your BEP for Windows software, it is suggested that you replace the old version. To do so, simply install the new version into the directory that contains the old version. This process will only replace the application files and will not delete or modify existing database files. The setup program will detect that the directory already exists and ask for confirmation to proceed).
   
   After you have instructed the system to proceed from this point, installation of the software will begin.
   
   
5. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation. Unless there is some unusual conflict (which will result in an error message), the installation will be successfully completed.
   
   
6. To run the newly installed software, double-click on the BEP icon that appears in the HPM application window, or find "BEP" under PROGRAMS on the START Menu and click on it. When the software is run for the first time, you will be required to enter a license number to validate the installation and make the program operational. Please contact HPM for instructions on obtaining a software license agreement if you do not already have one.
