Membership

Today we kick-off the 1997-98 PTA Membership Drive. Your yearly PTA memberships runs from October 15, 1997, until October 15, 1998.

At present, the PTA is the largest non-profit, volunteer child-advocacy organization in this country.

PTA is your chance:

	To belong to the largest organization in the world working solely for children.
	To support your own child as he/she goes from home into school and into the community.
	To become involved with the school on behalf of your child.
	To have a say about what the school will be.
	To offer your support of the school.
	To have an effect on the policy making of the school.
	To have input in evaluating the effectiveness of the school.
	To make a difference by adding the strength of your local PTA to the large membership (which already has great strength), all devoted to the welfare of children.
	To help avoid development of a vacuum between home and school, parent and child, and parent and teacher.

Do you write or speak a foreign language?

I need your help. I need the word "children" written in foreign languages. Call or eMail for details.
