I-Ching Calculator

Several years ago I made this program based on an idea in Douglas Adams' book Dirk Gentley's Holistic Detective Agency. Mine is a little different than the one Dirk used in the following ways:

1. It does accurately complete mathematical problems with results higher than 4.

2. You have to use it on your computer.

3. I, regretfully, forgot to add a decimal point to the keypad, so you can only use whole numbers.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the source files, only the executable, so I can't modify the program at all. For this same reason, I can't create a setup program. But, if you are curious, try it out. I don't think you have anything to lose.

Here some fabulous features of this download:

1. It's FREE!

2. It's a zipped file containing the program, a text file that has to be in the same location in order for it give you the interpretation of your I-Ching reading, and a cool little icon that I made.

3. Installation is pretty do-it-yourself - unzip the files into a folder of your choice. Run the executable. If you want to make a shortcut to the program, I recommend that you use the cute little icon I made!

So, go ahead, have a ball, do calculations and have your I-Ching read at the same time. But remember, this is just for fun. It isn't meant to do high-tech computations, nor is it meant to be any guarantee of your own future fortune. Divinate at your own risk.
