Peyote Stitch Earring
Part IV: VARIATIONS

- If you want to use more than 12 beads in the first row, you'll need a wider supporting core. Remember, your first row will have twice as many beads as the subsequent rows, so design your patterns accordingly. For continuous bands of pattern, it's best to make sure the number of beads in a row is divisible by 2. It's also desirable to have your pattern divisible by 12 or 6. (You'll get the most flexible pattern possibilities that way: 12 is divisible by 2, 3, 4, and 6; and 6 is divible by 2 and 3)
- Try these fringe variations!
- Here's another way to hang the fringe from the bottom row of the peyote cylinder.
- Here's how to hang single strands of fringe (vs. loops) from the cylinder.
- Here's the same pattern in different colors.
- Here's an alternate pattern.
- There are more patterns on my Patterns Page!
(There is also a printable blank template there.)
