When you come down the stairs, take you first left and you'll find four doors in this open space. When you first come into this area, enter door 1 on the first left. Inside is a room filled with pressure plates (PIT ROOM) and walking on them causes some to open and others to close. The correct way to do this is to set a chest onto a plate in the back center, and then walk around the left upper side and go out that exit. It's not that hard to figure out, so watch to see what plates open when you walk on a certain plate. If the plate you walk across closes when you take a step, then set sometime down before you step off it so that the plate will remain closed. The left back exit has stairs to the next level plus a secret room if you go left from the exit and search the wall, however first go to the next door.
Door 2: you see a big room (NEVER ENDING ROOM). There's an invisible force field in here, which must be avoided. Take one step into the room, turn right and go a few steps and search the wall for a secret button. Press it and then turn right and go all the way to the wall. "HUG" the wall (never more than one step away from it) all the way to other side. Go to the hallway and go down the hall and fight the small dragon. Turn left down the hall and search along the right side for a hidden room with great treasure. Go all the way to the back of this long tunnel to get a powerful staff.
Door 3: take the first left opening and go to the back of the room (BUTTON ROOM). Look for a switch in the wall and one on the opposing wall. They must be pressed in the proper order. Face the back wall, and press the right button, then the left button. Search the other walls for buttons. Press them in a similar fashion and two more should appear until finally a secret door will open to reveal a nice weapon.
Door 4: a room filled with teleporting mist (BLUE TRANSPORTER ROOM)! The correct sequence to get you safely through to the other side is: forward, right, back, forward, left, right, and back, and you should be on the other side. Get some goodies, but there's nothing really important. Now go down to the next level. You could've gone down in after the first room, but building your characters up wasn't such a bad thing...
