Type "CHEAT" on the option screen to access a bonus arena where you can collect lots of good stuff without fear of attack. By following the arena's course, you'll find a rocket ship. Collect the rocket ship to activate the cheat mode. Another source says when you're in the level, don't use the warp, instead collect everything on the way down. At the bottom of the maze, collect the gem before collecting the coin.
