Each P1x is housed in a small lightweight box that can clip to your belt or clamp to your mike stand. Just plug your instrument or mic into the box and then go from the box to your amp or direct to the board. The P1x1 or P1x2 is perfect for any vintage instrument where installation of an onboard preamp would affect the instrument's original condition and resale value.
Collier's P1x outboard will provide:
- a one-channel 30 dB PreAmp, and because the volume control is placed immediately at the input, to provide automatic padding, each P1x is capable of virtually any input level.
- Each P1x1 and each P1x2 provides you with fully parametric band/s of equalization,
each band having its own
- band center-frequency control (5-octave range),
- bandwidth control (0.1 to 2.8 octave range), and
- band gain control,
- There are 5 center-frequency ranges to choose from for P1x1s, and P1x2s are available in several combinations of those 5 ranges. Even custom bands can be available at an added cost.
- Your P1x is contained in a small, lightweight box (3.25"wide x 1.5"deep). (Height depends on the number of bands you choose.) Just clip it to your belt and prepare for an extraordinary range of equalization effects.
- Your P1x will travel on the stage with you, hanging comfortably on a clip over your belt, or clamped to your mic stand.
- It requires only two standard AAA cells (only about 5 milliamps of battery drain per band), and
- Any P1x band will provide a 5-octave range of center frequencies to choose from, with bandwidth and band gain adjustments including from negative infinity to positive 20dB gain on each band, and all the other outstanding features of Collier's Parametric Equalization technique. The available range/s of accessible center-frequencies (depending on which range/s of center frequencies your P1x has) are:
-
30-940 Hz
-
60-1900 Hz
-
120-3800 Hz
-
210-6600 Hz
-
500-16K Hz.
