Entry Fee Assistance Australasian residents may take advantage of a grant offered by Picaro Press. The Picaro Press Grant provides funds to equalise international entry fees for Australasian residents and to allow compliance with the Australian Society of Authors guidelines for competitions, which limits entry fees to AUD$5.00 for contests offering less than AUD$1,000 prize money.
If you desire to accept assistance from the Picaro Press Grant, select the "Grant Entry" button on the left at the bottom of this page. (From the grant entry form you will be able to review the applicable contest rules.) Please use only cheques, drafts, or money orders made out in Australian dollars and drawn on an Australian bank. You must make them payable to "Picaro Press/SFWoE." Do not send cash! Direct any questions about the Picaro Press Grant to the Grant Administrator Rob Riel.
If you prefer to send your manuscript(s) directly to the SFWoE address in the USA, select the "Entry Form" button on the right at the bottom of this page. (From the entry form you will be able to review the applicable contest rules.) You must send your entry fee in US dollars, and you'll need to include two IRC's and an SAE to convey your results. Please use international money orders made out in US dollars. Do not send cheques drawn on an Australian bank. Make Money orders payable to "Science Fiction Writers of Earth." (Australasian residents who send their manuscript(s) directly to SFWoE in the USA are not eligible for assistance from the Picaro Press Grant.)
Please direct any questions to the address above, or to the US address on the entry form (include an SASE), or to:
