An electric guitar-like instrument played using the two-handed tapping technique

Tapping the Pipeline "Tapping the Pipeline"

A variety of musical styles including Rock and Classical featuring the Solene.
Stringman "Stringman"

Fun, tuneful and reflective solo fingerstyle guitar with hints of folk and Classical.
Solene
  • Tuned like a 7 stringed guitar
  • Tubular fretboard accommodates natural contour of hands
  • Slanted frets for wrist and forearm alignment
  • Made of anodized aluminum tubing
  • The name Solene (so-lean) is derived from the pronunciation of the Greek word solen meaning pipe - the shape of the instrument. The tubular body with slanted, meandering frets positioned on the outer surface provides a new playing surface for the two-handed tapping technique. Since it can be tuned like a seven stringed guitar, guitarists can visualize intervals in a familiar way.
