The Therapist Referral Network (TRN) is a free service providing you with information to help you in your search for licensed psychotherapists and other mental health services. This unique program allows you to perform a detailed search for licensed professionals in your city or region based on 20 variables including specialization, fee,insurance plan, theoretical orientation, and more. All types of therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups may be located.
You can perform a search at this site or, if you
live in Texas, call toll-free
1-888-327-3463 Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 3:30 P.M.
CST(327-3463 in Austin) and speak with a phone counselor who
will perform the search for you. You may also
email TRN with your
search request. TRN provides additional information about
community resources in your area and about therapy in
general including definitions of types of therapy and tips
on what to look for, questions to ask, and what to expect
when looking for a therapist.
TRN contains valuable services for therapists and is designed to help professionals locate training and workshops for CEU's, find and lease office space, search for groups and referral information for clients,find supervision, locate community resources, and be more connected to the therapeutic community. Currently, TRN has information about therapists and resources in Texas,but licensed professionals and organizations from all over the USA are finding out about TRN and now have the option to join. We hope this site is helpful to you and appreciate your comments!
