Drilling Specialists Unitac is leading the industry with state of the art technology to improve the performance and efficiency of your deep hole drilling operation. Unitac's design engineers have been researching and designing deep hole drilling tools and machines for over 25 years. Unitac engineers hold and have patents pending for over ten deep hole drilling designs to include: Unireamer®, Unidex® design, special insert designs, guide pad protectors, cartridge design, cutting edge geometry, and double tube system technology. All design work is performed on a series of CAD stations to provide the flexibility to not only design Unitac's standard line of tooling but to adapt and design tools to fit your special needs quickly and efficiently. |

Quality Manufacturing The Unitac plant facilities use the latest CNC machines and flexible machining management to provide you with high quality precision tools and quick delivery. These alone are impressive, but are an unbeatable combination with a crew of highly trained, dedicated machinists and technicians and a plant manager with over 15 years of tool manufacturing experience at the helm. The plant's Quality Management Teams, made up of Team Leaders and craftsmen, hone Unitac's processes and maintain strict quality control. Each Unitac craftsman, while chosen for their skill and experience, excels because of the care, enthusiasm and pride put into the production of each and every deep hole drilling tool. |

Deep Hole Drilling Unitac offers a full range of brazed and indexable single tube and double tube drill heads for the best performance in each type of deep hole drilling operation. These drill heads are designed to deliver optimum surface finish, accuracy, and longer tool life all at a faster feed rate to improve your productivity. The
three different types of tool systems
commonly used for drilling deep holes are
the Single Tube System (STS),
Double Tube System (DTS),
and conventional gundrills. STS is the
most efficient and reliable method
available today for producing deep holes
from solid that are both straight and
true. The STS system is capable of
drilling holes as deep as 300 times the
drill diameter, while maintaining hole
size tolerances of H9. What's more, the
system's ability to machine deep holes
with heavy feed rates can help boost
productivity in most any industrial
application. To request a catalog, please
