Course Information:
National Certification: Discussion and review of the Men’s FIG Code of Points will occur
on
JO Certification: The major
portion of the JO material will be presented on Saturday. There will be
discussion of the compulsory routines, composition of the modified optional
routines, and elite
optional routines. To certify for compulsory levels you only need
to attend the Saturday course. To certify for modified optional and optional
level competitions you should attend both days for the discussion and review of
the Code of Points. Since judging optional routines will be a major portion of
the judging assignments, the discussion of optional parts will begin on
Saturday and continue into Sunday. Beginning judges must be at least 16 years
old.
Be Prepared: Read and
study the JO Compulsory Updates with the new levels and the Mens’s
FIG Code of Points.
Cost: The cost for JO and/or
National Certification is $65.00. If you are a High School or college
student, the cost is $45.00). Auditing the course is $ 25. Checks are easier than cash. Make checks
payable to the
Business Meeting: We will
spend a short amount of time on new business for the upcoming season.
New Recruits: If you are
a coach or gymnast we encourage you to become an active member in the judges
association. It is very important for all old and new members to attend and be
involved in the process. First year judges who judge a minimum of three (3)
meets will be eligible for a $25.00 rebate from the NCBGA at the end of
the season.
