• Microsoft Office 97, including PowerPoint forPCs

• Encyclopedias: World Book, Encarta, Grolier, Comptons
• General reference: Apple Elementary Reference Bundle (Time Almanac, Macmillan Dictionary, Blue Planet, Rosetta Stone)

• Students at present do not access Internet sites directly. Instead, information is provided to them through teacher searches of World Wide Web resources.
• Now that the building renovation is complete and installation of wiring for the district Wide Area Network is finished, the library media center contains 15 Internet-ready computer stations for research.
• All Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD library media centers are members of the TexasLibrary Connection, a statewide database whose resources include:
• Britannica Online
• Gale Group research programs
• interlibrary loan service with other Texas libraries
